3) Bring Your buff food, pots, and reagents (see Raiding Rules)
WE MAY CHOOSE TO REPLACE YOU IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP WITH THESE ITEMS!!
4) READ THE DKP RULES
We do use a DKP system. Be familiar with it. One of the rules in it is that if you are below the rank of Knight, you will only be able to roll for an item if all others pass. (read the info on how to become a Knight after three weeks of membership)
5) Take a moment prior to the raid to familiarize yourself with the raid you that are signing up for!
We are lucky in that our raid leader usually covers the fight in detail if there are new members in the raid. Obviously the strat you read online may not be the one we use. However, just knowing the abilities of the boss and how to avoid dying is always helpful. Many of the fights are very complicated and involve several stages or bosses with different abilities. Even if it is explained to you--it's still helpful to know as much as possible in advance.
